I realize I haven’t written in a while. Work is one excuse and we had JackO fighting a monster cold/flu thing for a couple of weeks. Luckily, he’s good as new. I promise to fill everyone in on everything JACK TORREY soon, but today I’m writing for a different reason.

Do you know about ALD Family Weekend at The Painted Turtle?!?!?!

The Painted Turtle is a beautiful non-profit camp in Southern California that provides your-round, life-changing camp experiences for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Thanks to the work of the wonderful Adler family, The Painted Turtle is once again hosting a weekend for ALD families!

Our family participated when it was virtual, and it was AMAZING! Last year it was live at their beautiful camp in Southern California and by all accounts it was a spectacular weekend. This year the weekend is August 8^th-11^th and will surely be the best yet!

This session is open to all ALD families who have children 18 and under and is completely FREE for all campers and their families (the camp also offers transportation assistance on a case-by-case bases)!!!!
